eLogger Training Manager Tours Seneca Generation

Last month, Kevin had the chance to travel to NW Pennsylvania and work with a great group of people at Seneca Generation.  What a beautiful area to visit and work.  The Kinzua Dam and Allegheny River are two sights to see.

Seneca has a great group of people working at the plant.  Kevin was able to work with David Meyerotto, Gaven Havle, Alex Espinoza and Kellie McClement on their eLogger build for the operations team and dam inspection/safety team.

In the three days Kevin worked on site, they worked on getting eLogger ready to use.  We updated some users so they had emails working when alerts were created, built out a total of 28 log types.  Some examples are visitor safety orientation, vehicle inspections, transformer checks to unit status changes, to name a few.  In those logs, we also worked together on building out over 80 templates to collect data; along with 4 pre-filled entries and 7 new saved searches for Seneca’s users.

It was a great visit, from learning how they generate power to meeting great people, as well as Kevin being able to see a new area of the United States.

Kevin wants to thank all of those at Seneca for the hospitality and help in building out eLogger for them.  Especially thanks to Dean and Ron for the great conversations and suggestions for places to visit and eat in the Warren, PA area.
