eLogger Searching Training

  • Description
    • The Searching class teaches users how to find information in eLogger and how to generate reports, including PDFs and Excel spreadsheets.  The four methods of searching, along with acknowledgements, will be taught in this class.
  • Goals
    • By the end of this training session, system administrators will see the multiple ways to search in eLogger.
    • System Administrators will also see the how to generate reports and export information from eLogger into Excel.
  • Who Should Attend
    • System administrators who are new to eLogger, but have gone through the basics training. This is a good class for System Administrators who have been using eLogger but need a refresher on how to retrieve data from eLogger.
  • Objectives
    • By the end of training, system administrators will:
      • Be able to filter their view logs page by using the Show Additional Parameters link on the View Logs Page.
      • Know how to, and what can be searched for, using the Quick Search feature.
      • Be able to retrieve specific information using the Search Logs Page.
      • Know how to create and share saved searches.
      • Be able to generate the different reports available in eLogger, from both the view logs page and the search logs page; along with understanding how to export their search results into Excel
